ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Charles Greenholdt is a signature member of the American Watercolor Society exhibiting in the highest ranked Art Festivals in the country.  He has won many prestigious awards over the years and has been exhibited in Watercolor, U.S.A., Butler Institute of American Art, Biennial Watercolor Innovative Invitational and others.

Portraits have always been a mainstay of Charles’ work dating back to his late teens and persisting to this day.  His portraits are successful because of his quest to not only accomplish a true likeness of his subjects, but to bring the person to life, through his  approach to natural lighting and textures.
