Mostly a self-taught artist, Dano started painting in pastel in th 80s to satisfy her love of colors. As a member of the Richmond Hill Group of Artists, she won merit awards for her art and sold her works both in Canada and the U.S. After an interlude spent building a successful business in another field, she retired to pursue her passion for painting. Over the years, she has experimented with different mediums before settling on acrylic. Now, however, she has started a new adventure with knife painting in oil, and venturing in the exciting fiel of the abstract.
