 Intermediates bring what you have!  Expanded color list given in class.

Paints

	Acrylics		Oils
	"Golden" brand is recommended.  It is an excellent quality paint with good coverage, and also mixes well.		"Grumbacher Pretested" is an excellent quality and value, since it covers and mixes well.

Paints:   Transparent watercolors in tubes  
 Colors: Cadmium Yellow Light, Cadmium Yellow Medium
Cadmium Red, Alizarin Crimson
Cobalt Blue,  French Ultramarine Blue
Sap Green,  Orange,  Burnt Sienna,  Burnt Umber

 Brushes: synthetic watercolor short handle type  (oil brushes have long handles)
Rounds: size #2,#4, #6 ,#8    These come to a sharp point.
Flats: (chisel edge)  size ½” &   ¾”
Angular:   3/8” 

140 lb. cold press watercolor paper   
Palette with large mixing area and wells for paints
Backing or support board on which to adhere paper.   approx. size= 15”x22”
 Cheap Foamcore can work, but must be covered with clear or white contact paper.
Water container with large opening, example:  Cool whip, cottage cheese. 
Square synthetic sponge  (dishwashing type)
Masking Tape
Paper towels or soft rags
  #2 Pencils
Kneaded eraser
12” plastic ruler
Optional:   small hair dryer
