Taking inspiration from the master impressionists, past and present, I am drawn
to the beauty of nature and the scenes that surround us all each day.
Whether painting on location or in my studio, I use a combination of a painterly
technique and glowing colors to capture the effects of light on the subject to
create a mood. "The artist's mind is always active and one must
constantly create and experiment to grow as a painter. Art allows me to do
